The science of Behavioral Health Prevention has advanced faster than our ability to systematically fund, absorb, and utilize. To change the trajectory of any behavior we can't only work on the individual but we must also work to change the environment.
Everyday consciously or unconsciously, there are various humans, organizations, and governments trying to change the world. We, humans, tend to think linearly and with a structured approach with predictability and consistency.
In this fast-moving world, technology, medicine, and science are advancing at a dizzying pace making lives better and healthier. Yet some social problems like obesity, substance abuse, underage drinking, drink and drive, bullying still remains unaddressed.
